New in the north
Great site I just found! Have a 68 C10 powered by a 95 LS1 corvette engine and 4L60E trans.Goes well but does not stop all that well, looking to swap out poorly done(before me) lowering tactics-cut springs on front and sitting on snubbers- to proper lowering spindles and disc brakes. Anyone heard of using S10 spindles?

Re: New in the north
I just joined myself. There seems to be lots of good advice and info in here.
Love the stance on your '68. I'm just getting started investigating the disc brake conversion with drop spindles too. As for the S10 spindles, I know they use 'em in older passenger car conversions (my dad's '56 chevy is converted to disc using S10 spindles), but I don't know if they use 'em for full size trucks - the rotors may be a little on the small side? Post the question in the 67-72 pickup message board and I'm sure you'll get some more help.
