Re: Are These Any Good For Lowering
wow looks like a great idea if the quality is there. That would mean no flip no shackel reversal just bolt on. I will be watching this thread.

Re: Are These Any Good For Lowering
Yeah I saw that. I hope the people in charge here make some great plains to show all the visitors a great time when they arrive. I'm surprised they chose to end it in Arkansas. I will be there. Hopefully I can get alot of cool pictures and videos.

Re: Are These Any Good For Lowering
Those are what I have on the back of my truck, along with a set of shock relocators. I bought them from that site. No problems with them. It took just a couple of hours for me and a friend to install them.
The only downside is that they lower the carrying capacity of the truck because they have fewer leaves. Y'all let me know if you have any questions. Slonaker |

Re: Are These Any Good For Lowering
^ x2. These seem like a great option minus the reduced carrying copasity. I might have to look into getting some

Re: Are These Any Good For Lowering
Instead of buying these isnt it possible to just take out the stock leaf and remove a few of the leafs and put it back in?

Re: Are These Any Good For Lowering
So, Slonaker how low is that in the rear? Did you also do the drop shackles and hangers? It looks easier to just do the springs and not the hangers and shackles.

Re: Are These Any Good For Lowering
Mine is 2.5/4. I used 2.5" Western Chassis drop spindles in the front with new stock springs. The rear is a 4" drop using just the drop leaves. That's it. I like the look of a lower truck, but I don't want to go too low since I drive this one daily.
I suspect you could do pretty much the same thing by removing leaves. I chose to do it this way because the amount of drop was predictable, and you end up with all new parts. Plus i didn't want to fight the rivets on the shackles and hangers. Slonaker |
