Power steering pump identification

How can I tell which power steering pump that I have? I am trying to order brackets to mount the pump on the water pump since I don't have head accessory holes. Anyone got any tricks to mount it without buying the brackets????????

Thanks
Jeremy

Re: Power steering pump identification

Hey, it depends on your engine more than your pump, I think the pumps are kinda universal for these years of trucks. I have a 73 with a in-line 6 and am using a pump out of a 76 donor that had a v-8. I had all kinds of probs finding the right brackets, till I stumbled on to an ebay seller ( treborsparts), and they set me up with everything I needed. Just e-mail them or get their ph. number and I bet they'll be very helpful. goodluck
