Help needed on 1955.5 to 1959 bed.

Hey Guy's,

When I bought my truck the bed it came with was so rusty I had to scrape it and go for a new one. The problem is, the new bed sides I bought have no hole in them at all. So I was wondering if any of my trucking buddies out there could take some measurements for me. Here’s what I need:
• From the very front of the bed side to the first bolt hole for the fenders.
• From the very front again, the measurement for the center each bolt hole on the floor rail attached to the bed side.

Photo would be a great help also. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Re: Help needed on 1955.5 to 1959 bed.

well, i can help a little, front to center off front lower fender bolt is 14.25"

rear edge of rear stake pocket to center of lower rear bolt hole is 6.5"

i can't give you the measurements for the strips because my parts truck has a piece of plywood just laid on top of them, and is loaded up with parts. my other truck is a long bed, so no help there.
