time for whole different driveshaft, the driveshaft in it now is the type tat has the slip pline yoke towards middle near carrier bearing,a nd has the U joint at the tranny tail instead of a auto trans and car 4 speed and car/truck 3 speed slip yoke, is totally different, you wil be able to put in a one poice shaft when you get the th350 in, you wil have to cut out the crossmember under the bewllhousing now and get a 67-72 auto trans memeber and it wil bolt in with existing hole sin frame unless you get a long tail th350(73-up trucks)

that 4 speed you have is called the SM420 and 67 was the last year they were used, they were used sine 1947 and examples of it are gettin hard to find and wont get any easier, firs gear ratio of the 420 is a whopping 7.06:1 comapred to 6.55 in the Ch465 in 68-up that replaced the 420 trannies

i may want that driveshaft if you do the trans swap, i see that you are in WY, thats a good thing

more info later
good luck
