Dismantle a Valve

Is it ok to take a valve apart to get the bracket to face the other direction? the valves i have are SMC and it appears that i could just take the 4 hex head bolts out, turn the bracket and put it back together.

Are these sealed some how? if so, if i take them apart, are they gonna leak?

Re: Dismantle a Valve

Are they SMC style valves? If so, the 4 bolts in the top can be removed and the bracket can be adjusted or totally removed. There is a seal, but it is a rubber gasket type seal that can be replaced.
