1965 K20 Project
Almost time to start the body work. $1000, carb kit, fuel pump and a new battery got it home barely! I was going to fix it up as a daily driver, but one thing led to another. I have found a lot of 60-65 suppliers.

That is a fine rig. I love your workmanship. No shade tree mechanic there! How about some more photos of your progress? Tony Last edited by LILRED66; 06-05-2007 at 10:20 PM. |

The good old transfer case. Used Eastman's titanium paint. Replaced all seals and used Royal Purple in tranmission and transfer case. I took the drivelines to a local shop and had them balanced and u-joints. Its was worth having them do it.

Re: 1965 K20 Project
Fuel tank is from Brothers. Had to make some modifacations with a grinder to notch where the spring shackles mount to the frame. I wish the tank was larger capacity and that I would have got a side fill instead of top fill. I seen a truck where they had put the filler behind the tail light.

Clifford ceramic, had to message them a little to get the offenhauser manifold to fit. This is prob. one of the best links I have found for performance l6 parts. http://www.merchantamerica.com/chevy...ex.php?ba=home

Re: 1965 K20 Project
This was posted over a year ago. Does any one know if baddawg65 is still around or if he completed the truck? Would like to see completed or progress pics. This looks like its going to be a bad ass truck.
