Well ... long story short. I am going to have to sell all my stuff for the 5.3 swap. My financial situation just changed for the worse so it looks like i will have to sell everything i have for the swap.

Ugghh .... just isnt fair ..lol

That sucks! Decisions like this are never easy to make, but it sounds like you're doing the right thing. Good luck and here's to your situation improving!

Yea .. it happens to the best of us.

Good news is i am keeping the truck.

I'll get the swap done ..... i'll just have to start over when the time is right.

Well if all works out in the next year i will do the LS1 ..... hopefully someone is interested in my 5.3L to help me out till then.

I would love to help you out, but I am in the same situation as you, I plan on doing a swap in the future but finances aren't allowing it right now.

I would love to do the swap as well, but there is no way I could afford to do so!

My 5,500 pound Z71 has the 5.3 and that thing will get up and go in stock form! I can only imagine what it would do in a 3,700 pound truck!

At lest you're keeping the truck!
