What is the best way to preserve Polished Billet wheels

I just bought some some billet wheels and would like to know, what is the best way to preserve them?

If you polished them super duper nice, you can follow it up with Zoops Seal. It is really expensive but I have it on my pulleys and they look great after a year. One of our company cars wheels havn't been polished for 3 years using Zoops seal. It is a sealer that coats the wheels.

I use Mother's Power Ball and their polish on my polished AR wheels. They went unpolished for 5 years. It's a chore, but they look better. They will continue to get better, in my opinion. But the Zoop's is looking like an answer to keeping them looking good....on the GMC, not the '69. My '69 wheels are powder-coated.....low maintenance. I like it like that. Wife is high maintenance so something had to give.

I havent used Zoops but heard good about it. I use "WheelWax" and have had good luck with it. Fairly inexpensive about $15http://www.wheelwax.com/

The only way to avoid continually polishing aluminum wheels is to use a sealant such as Zoops, Powerseal, etc. Otherwise the wheels will continually oxidize, no matter what polish you use.......and this is why all my wheels are chrome.

I use wheel wax too....I'm not a big beliver in sealers like Zoops. It does work, but it is a lot of work to get the stuff on properly/evenly and it is extremely expensive....over $100. Then you have to deal with stripping it off to re-apply when needed. It's supposed to last for a year? I don't know, maybe on underhood parts but wheels?

I have used "Wheel Wax" for a while now and it is very easy.

Those wheels were a waste of money and will never keep a shine, so send 'em my way and I will relieve you of your grief Seriously though....good looking wheels Go for the ZoopSeal. My buddy did his and a year later they still look new. BUT..and as hard as it is going to be to do, try and keep the brake dust washed off. Even if it looks like there is none, it will end up building up. I've pulled my TTII's off three times or better just to clean the backsides that you cannot reach from the front. Amazing how fast the dust builds up.

You guys that use Mothers would thank me if you threw that stuff away and went to California Customs. It's easy and takes probably less than 5 minutes a wheel. I don't use anything else on mine and they stay shiney.
