Dual Master - manual disc/drum
62 c10, I've got front disc, rear drum, and putting in a new manual dual master from a 76 GM. Ok, so I read this very informative thread about dual masters.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=207313 Question is: Can I just plug the rear brake line at the master, and just run the front brakes temporarily? (I don't have a prop valve) I need to do some more plumbing for the rear brakes, and want to have enough brakes to be able to back it out of the garage and load on the trailer etc.

Re: Dual Master - manual disc/drum
Ok, thought I'd post what I've learned. Don't know if you can plug rear brakes at master or not so I completed the lines to the rear brakes.
Now I had figured that since more juice needs to go to the front brakes than the rear, that the largest port on the dual master would be for the front brakes - WRONG. The guy at the parts store says it's always the port nearest the firewall that is for the front brakes. And the only reason they are different sizes at all is so that they don't mix them up at the factory
