Anyone want to save an El Camino?

This is an el camino I spied yesterday in a salvage yard in southeast Missouri. It is a basket case, actually there are two here and are roached but I hate to see this stuff crushed. They are going to crush it next week! I don't have a need for these but I am writing you all so that if you or anyone you know needs this, you can save them. Guy says he wants $400 for each body which seems high to me given they are going to crush them anyway, I don't know how much a crushed car body is going for now. There are no engines or trannys I think there are rear ends seats in one and not the other. Here are some pics.... Write back if interested.

Those are some serious basket cases. It looks like everything good is already gone.

Re: Anyone want to save an El Camino?

I hate to be Nihilistic but I have seen a hundred more rare cars that are waiting for someone to restore. I wish we could save them all, but those are pretty far gone. Thanks for posting the pics and giving us the chance to save them.

We have a crusher program in California and I used to get emails on the cars that were going to get crushed. It was mostly junk, but one day a 66 Riviera was on the list. The cars had to run and drive to get crushed in the program. I would have had to come up with $2000 for them to save it from the crusher. Unfortunately I was still in college and had no money at the time.
