Stepside reproduction fenders

Has anyone bought repro 55 to 66 stepside rear fenders from LMC, or Brothers etc. and are they any good? I need both sides and it scares me to spend $800 and have them turn out to be junk. I also might be interested in any used ones you good folks might have if the Rust fairy hasn't paid a visit to them. Thanks

Re: Stepside reproduction fenders

The fenders from both suppliers are from the same manufacturer. We sell the same ones. They are like alot of parts ,not as good as the original. I used them on my truck but the only thing I do not like about them is that the originals are flat on top. The Repros tend to flare up at the flange where it bolts to the bedside. Once installed they are Ok. Most people would not notice. One thing I like about them is it beats the time it takes to make a original one straight.

I guess I need to see one in person. I'm going to the Hemmings show in VT this weekend and hope to find some to look at. If I like them I'll give you a yell. Thanks Mike.
