1965 front wheel cyclinder
went to replace my front drum brakes on a 65 modle truck, well looks like the wheel cyclinder are frozen up, anyways unlike the back ones there are no bolts to remove the wheel cyclinder, am I missing something?

wow! is everyone doing there brakes this weekend?? lol. I think I have the same problem!
See my image as to where the bolt is that holds the cylinder to the backing plate. The bolt is actually the pin that holds the two upper springs. I myself am having issues unscrewing the brake hose from the cylinder. Last edited by salazar44; 09-23-2007 at 12:54 AM. |

thx for the quick reply, i'll soak it in pb blaster and see what I can do... found out both front brakes were not hardly getting any pressure...
