hey guys, I haven't posted in a while. waiting to get some things together after the initial tear down. I have a stupid question? once I remove the rocker it seems to me there is more underneath. Is that why there is an inner rocker and an outer rocker. Does the inner rocker weld straight to the floor pan. I know someone is gonna get a kick outta this, but that's okay that's how we all learn by hard knocks. lol

YEP. The inner rocker is attached to the floor pan. It also bolts to the front and rear cab supports, hinge pillar, and rear pillar. Here's a couple pics

Re: 65 gmc

so in lieu of your answer, would it be better to start with the floor pans first then the rockers or the other way around?

The inner rocker is actually part of the floor pan. Tack brace the door openings, doors off, remove outer rocker, remove inner rocker, and rusted floor area, then reverse procedure. How bad are the floors? Got any pic's?
