Questions About Lowering 73-87 Trucks......

I have noticed that nobody seems to sell or use 5" Front and 7" Rear lowering kits for 73-87 Chevy/GMC 1/2 Ton anymore. I see 5-5, but no 5-7. It seems to me that lowering the truck the same front and back would only create a raked look. On some vehicles this works in my opinion, but not on these trucks.

If someone reads this and has lowered their 73-87 truck, please tell me how you did it and if possible include a pic PLEASE!

I don't want to buy a kit only to be dissatisfied with it!

i am just the man you are looking for first off go here www.sporttruckdirect.com they sell the kit you are looking for. its manufactured by western chasis and the quality is great. best kit for these trucks in my opinion. how do i know? b/c i have it. comes with 2.5 inch drop spindles, 2.5 inch drop srpings for the front. 5 inch flip kit and 2 inch shackels with a cnotch kit for the rear. shocks sold seperatly. got plenty of pics too here is one:

this pic is with the same size tires (255/60/15) front and rear so it sits level.

there are more pics in the link in my sig some of them were just after i lowered it and it had shorter tires on the front so it was raked.
