It's gotta go!
This is a great deal for someone in the market. You couldn't buy a rust free suburban, with new paint, wheels, tires. seat covers etc. for this price! My Dad passed away almost a year ago and Mom wants to liquidate his trucks.

Re: It's gotta go!
Greg, it sounds like it only needs a couple of hours work to make it driveable again. I'm sure it would sell faster if it was.
I mean no disrespect but could you not finish it?

i agree with royo if it were my dads i'd keep it and leave it to my son.i'd finish it and drive it because every time you'd drive it your dad would be riding with you.think bout it.

Re: It's gotta go!
Thanks guys for all your concern, but let me tell you a little bit about my Dad. He loved old cars and trucks, so much that he had five of them. All fully restored, a 1957 Belair, 1955 Cameo, 1971 SWB Cheyenne, 1972 1/2 ton Suburban , and this 1972 3/4 ton Suburban. My sister is keeping the 1972 SWB Cheyenne, I am keeping the Belair and Cameo. I would love to keep them all, but I don't have that much room. And sure I love working on these old trucks, but I am now single handedly running the family machine shop that I have worked in for the last 19 years, plus I am building one myself. As far as the parts for this truck, everything is there except for the carpet. A few months ago my son and I assembled the front end. The trim is partially installed, the door panels need to be put back on, the seats are recovered and just need to be bolted in after carpet. And he installed a fuel filler door and the hose from the neck to the tank needs to be installed. I don't know if he had any pics of the truck before paint, but I can honestly tell you it was virtually rust free! Like one of you said in a day or two this thing would be cruising down the road. PM or post with any more questions you may have. Thanks again. Greg
