Remove K/5 Blazer Emblem

Is it possible to remove the "K/5 Blazer" emblem without removing the fender? I am in the process of having my '69 Blazer repainted and spent the day removing trim and stuff but could not figure out how to get to the inside nuts on the K5 Blazer emoblem. Especially the one closest to the door jam. Any suggestions, am I just missing something? Thanks.

The inner fender can come off to get the nuts on the backside but...I think the fender will have to come off to get to the nut closest to the door.

I replaced mine taking the inner fender off and had my 12 yr old son use a "gearwrench" to install that inner nut it worked great ! that god for skinny arms and cheap labor ...
