Panhard rod question?
Anyone ever modify a factory (1964-1966) fixed panhard rod and make it adjustable? I have lowered my truck (1966 C10 SWB panel truck) and have noticed the rear is shifted over 1/4" to the passenger side. I know that adjustable bars are readily available for as little as $60.00, but I would rather modify my stocker and save some $.
If anyone has performed a modification like this, please post pictures or post any info you can on this topic. As always, any and all input is appreciated.

Re: Panhard rod question?
I hate to say this outloud, but when I lowered my 63, I cut mine, realigned the rear, and welded it back together, while it was on the truck. I know, I know, el-cheapo. But, it's not going to any shows. And, who's gonna see it once the bed wood's back in? It was intended for a temporary fix so I could drive it. But, with a little grinding, it don't look bad. And, I figure I saved enough for 'bout 6 cases of beer. A win/win situation if you ask me.

Re: Panhard rod question?
If anything I would cut the ends of the panhard off. then just weld a new piece of bar between them. Just use your ends, line it up in the truck, then cut a piece of tubing to that length and weld the bushing bungs to the new tube.
