finally some cad powered pics!!
had alot of guys asking for engine pics with cad 472 stuffed in. been in for about 200 miles now, was in the middle of swapping out front end and electrical thus the loose wires grounded, air cleaner will be painted red as will the truck soon !

Great looking engine! I wish we saw more Caddy powerplants in general. How does your truck drive now?

thanks for the feed, drive train came out of a 71 fleet wood. with just a stock rebuild and some polished n ported heads i ran a 13.9 in the 1/4 with traction issues. sure purrrrrrs like a caddy! this is what it looked like when i first got it. drove it home 3hrs with bad wires and 2 cracked heads and 5 gallons of water. exhaust mans were welded to the frame as engine mounts!!!!!!

LMAO!! Why didnt I think about welding the manifolds to the frame?!! I have posted before, but heres some of my in the works fab for my Caddy powered '66
