I'm from Bama Too!
Hey ya'll. I just got my "newish" 72 about a month ago . This is an awesome forum and it has helped me alot already. I figured I should say hey. I am from the gulf shores area in Alabama, but currently stationed in Norfolk, VA untill the end of the summer, then I am heading back home. I have quite a bit of work to do, but with the help I have already gotten from you guys it will definitely be easier. If anyone lives near me, give me a shout.

Re: I'm from Bama Too!
Cool! We will definitely have to meet up. I won't be back down there until late May at best. I am almost finished with my enlistment in the Navy and then I am moving back to Sweet Home. I will send you some pics. Send me some too if you got em. bamabaxter@yahoo.com

Re: I'm from Bama Too!
Don't worry! We'll be around then! Son's b'day is at the end of June and he's wanting to have a co-ed party down there. I don't think there's enough alcohol in the state to convince me to do that. I'm thinking 5 15-17 year old boys will be enough for me to handle.
Thanks for serving our country. I know y'all don't get enough praise for what you do, but it is truly appreciated!!! I'll buy ya a beer when you get home!!
