anyone want to lend some measurements on where to cut the floor so as not to make a mess.I really appreciate it!! |

Re: hurst shifter measurements
I mounted mine but left the handle off, drilled a 1/4 hole from under the truck directly above the shifter, then a 2" hole with a hole saw. works great, clean, plenty of room and fits under the boot good. good luck

Re: hurst shifter measurements
This is exactly what I did. I then opened up the 2" hole slightly as needed with a die grinder.

Re: hurst shifter measurements
I have a Muncie M-21 with a Hurst shifter. The hole for mine is probably different than where yours will be, but mine is at the rear of the center floor hump and it goes back toward the seat. I had to cut the vertical rise in the floor panel to make mine fit.

Re: hurst shifter measurements
Is it direct linkage, or a cable hookup?
When I had my Hurst floor shifter, it was almost under the fornt seat.....
