need help.. ill try to explain

need to know what action to take.
im working on getting my body line right and im having lots of trouble with teh drivers side... started in teh rear and lined door to cab, but the fender to door is reaaly bad off.
the bottom has a gap about an inch wide, where as teh top of the gap looks ok..
i can put a jack under teh front cab support and jack it up and make them line up, but what course of action do i need to take to keep from having to jack up the front cab support?
P.S. i put all new cab supports in and im thinking the front pillar droped down some.. Can i just cut my cab support around teh bottom, jack it up where i want it and weld teh support back?

Did you replace the radiator core supports? The core position plays a big part in the fender to door alignment.

i have tried two different ones.. has teh same gap with both

What if you loosen up all the new support bushings, get all the panels lined up and tightened down and then make a few rounds at tightening up all the bushings and watch your gaps as you do it. Just a thought.

Did you replace cab mounts,core support bushings?The kits generally come with 69-72 core bushings which are taller then the 67-68 ones.If you used them then the core support is higher than it should be.This will make it impossible to line up your bodywork.
When asking questions you need to give the Specs of wht you are working on so we can better give suggestions.

my bad.. its a 72 SWB.. i did replace all teh bushings.. i think i may have got it tonight, i shimed the front left of the cab and got the fender lined up pretty good. i appreciate yalls help.
now im having probs with my hood.. it never ending it seems.. lol
