stepside fender brace , where do they go ?
hi ya all, it's been so long since i took my truck apart i forgot where these braces go. someone have a picture of these braces installed ? thanks

I know the two long ones with the nuts on them go to the frame but I dont remember where on they bed they go. I got rid of my step.

Those little devils go from the frame to the bottom lip of the fender. The rear one is nutted to a hole about three inches back from the wheel opening. The front one is nutted to the front of the fender in the middle.
I sliced off some skin trying to loosen one of those nuts because they get sprayed by water and road gunk and corrode. Bigger pics here Rear Front |

Anyone know where to purchase these braces for a 1969 step side? Nothing comes up for me fo 69?
