Finally found time!
Well I finally found some time to work on my shop truck. I completely disassembled the van cab dashboard (donor vehicle), and I will be able to use almost everything from under and behind the dash on the 65. A/C - Heater box splits in half at the firewall. The brake pedal / master cylinder, and even the column will all work. the heating / A/C duct system is perfect size for our application and is about 4 inches in diameter, and the entire system will hide behind the dash out of view. If anyone has an old chevy/gmc van with a/c, you have a very economic way of adding a/c at minmal cost. I sent my film off at wally world and as soon as it gets back with the disc, I will post some pics. Gonna bring the 65 to the shop this weekend and move the cab over to the 84 chassis hopefully next week if I get a break. Jerry

Re: Finally found time!
84 chevy G30. The nice thing is the front end spacing. The radiator support to the center of the front wheel is the same. The ends of the 65 radiator support will be cut off and welded the the van's support. Therfore retaining all the radiator and a/c condenser mounts/postions. The fenders attached and work back from there. I have even taken out the harness, which will be put in the 65. Some wires will have to be lengthend and I will have to get a/c hoses for an 84 p/u to get the correct length, but the rest of the chassis is straight frame from the engine back. Bought the van for 300.00 with 49,000 original miles. I will post pics as I get them from Wal-mart. Jerry
