Crew cab Short bed build...bed options??
Hi All, I am in the process of building a short bed crew cab truck.
Cab is a 1974 vintage from AZ. I bought a later model stepside bed (88-98) but I was wondering what other configurations people have toyed with. I want a stepside for sure, so that rules out all the fleetside options. Anyone put an even later model bed on their OBS chevy?? Just trying to get some ideas/input from people.. Thanks.. |

you can get another set of fenders and flip them and use them for inside wheel wells or tubs.. they look alot beetter than tubs....

Re: Crew cab Short bed build...bed options??
i have seen a few 73-87 trucks around here with a 88-98 stepside bed and to be honest they look goofey.
sell the 88-98 bed and buy the proper stepside bed fro your crew cab. after i finish my new project which is a 81 2 wheel drive blazer i am building a crew cab short bed and i have been thinking about a stepside bed. |

I know that most people don't like the look, but i was thinking i may be able to pull it off for a monster truck.
i want the truck to be light with a fiberglass bed and fiberglass nose. Anyone have a glass nose laying around that they want to sell?? |
