well my dually is on hold indefinatly

well if you rember i hurt my back last year...i thought it was getting better and had even went to work part time for a friend.. but the work ran out. so i been looking for a job... this last weekend i woke up and did the morning yawning stretching thing. i did something to my back.. now im barely moving again.. what started it a couple of weeks ago i had a flat on a nissan altima i had just traded for.. so like the rocket scientist that i am i went out to change my tire... well put a 4 way on it and tried that.. well i knew then i was in trouble, couldnt budge the lugnuts.. so being super smart and not gonna let a little import kick my butt i got out the L shape tire iron, put a 4 foot cheater pipe on it.. i bent the tire iron, didnt budge the lug nuts, and almost fell because of the pain in my back.. guess what a little import kicked my butt.. had to have a freind come over and use a big dewalt electric impact on the lug nuts. i did feel better about it because he couldnt break them lose by hand either...

so now my dualy that has been sitting out in a field waiting for me to get the 454 rebuilt is on hold indefinatly.. man that upsets me to no end.. figured to have it up and running in the next couple of months... well not sure if im just gonna sell it or let it sit awhile longer.. probably let it sit... man when it rains it pours... i would just about trade off my motor home for a new 454 if i knew the rest of the truck was in good shape...lol

hope you all are haveing a better summer than i am....
keep up all the great work i see going on on ya'lls trucks.. keeps me goign thinking that one day i will be able to get mine goign.. thanks for all the help...

Hang in there the tides will change, rest and recoperate the truck will wait for you. You could always enlist a friend or two to help with the things your unable to do.

I feel your pain. I was injured in '05. crushed L4-L5,L5-S1 in my back. They want to do surgery, but the statistics are NOT that great fro recovery. MOST doctors admit that you will be better for a few years, then you'll get worse than you were to start with. I have mixed feeling about Chiropractic AND Physical therapy. I like BOTH. Good Luck. I was told that I would be pushin pencils for the rest of my life. I still build engines for people, work on my trucks, I built my BBQ trailer, tote around HEAVY ice chests with meat and drinks. You will find where your limits are...STICK to them. Dont let someone talk you into helping with something you KNOW you cant do. If they dont understand, then tell to "F"-OFF! they arent true friends anyway. Good luck.

Life is like a roller coaster and you're just on the downside or bottom. Keep your chin up and your eye on your hopes and dreams and things will eventually improve.
