A friend of mine bought a Kenwood KSC-WA62RC all in one under the seat sub unit a few years ago. Well he never installed in because he sold his jeep and just gave it to me still new in the box

Re: Kenwood sub question?
I would use a LOC (Line Out Controller) to convert the rear speaker level outputs into some RCA line outputs.
It should be fine under either the passenger seat or the rear seat if you have a crew cab. |

Re: Kenwood sub question?
Since you are using an all in one system, I do not think a LOC is needed. Matter of fact I am unsure if these came with RCA inputs. I have used high level inputs using the rear speakers of head units in the past with a Bazooka system and never ran into any issues. As to location, that is totally up to you. Just make sure that you have enough room for cooling and the speaker to move freely. It may sound better if it is under the rear seat.
Good luck and let us know what you think of the end result. SEA |
