control arms 2wd vs 4wd
im doing disc brakes on my truck and the donor truck is early 80s 2wd but is missing driv. upper control arm.can i use a upper control arm off a 4wd of about the same year.reason being is for the newer rubber bushings.thx

The 73-87 4WD trucks don't use an IFS and won't have control arms. It should be fairly easy to locate an upper arm to replace your missing one.

1988 was the first year for IFS in Chevy 4x4s, but they are very different from any of the 2 wheel drive stuff....from any year
