Hello from Sacramento, CA
Great looking site guys! Glad I found it.
On Wednesday, my new baby will arrive. It's a 1971 Cheyenne K10 short step side. 100% complete from original owner, my father in law. It's being picked up by transport company today in Nebraska, and getting trucked to me. This delivery cost me $1300 but that will be the total investment to get ownership as my father in law wanted his daughter to have it. Truck is all original and complete. Has 190k miles on it though. It runs fine. Doesn't even smoke LOL... It needs a few things. Like Tranny fluid getting in the transfer case, and needs front u-joint. It's been in a barn for about 15 years, and also needs seat re-covered and tires. I'm real excited about it. I have always liked this truck, and have never seen another 71 4x4 short step side. I think they might be kind of rare. The cool thing is, I already have a 71 Chevelle that I have been working on for a couple of years. It will be cool to have the 71 towing the trailer with the 71 on it. Anyway, happy to be here. I have already gotten lots of info from you guys. I'm sure I'll be posting about my new obsession. Thanks. |
