Arrow leaf vs coil?

I have a 72 c10 chevy with rear leaf springs, I wan't to know what is the diff from the coil? Is there an advantage? I want to lower the rear, but not sure how much. The front will be dropped 3 inches.

I don't think there is enough of an advantage to warrant switching to coils. Your going to want to lower the 4-5" depending on how much rake you like.
