automatic cab swap to manual cab
hey, i just posted about a wiring mess on my rollback, i was thinking about it. i should just swap out the cab. mine is shot rusty, and i know of an automatic 4x4 cab. i have a 2wd manual cab, how hard is this swap? what holes need to be cut, what needs to be done. thanks!
ps. it has a hydrolic clutch, but i do have another truck with mechanical linkage if that is easier Matt

If it is a granny 4 in the floor on the 4x2, and the 4x4 has a removable trans tunnel, you should be able to swap cabs and then swap the tunnels...

when i did the swap on a somewhat different animal ( i had a 76 3 on the tree and the donor was an 82 automatic) i thought it was best to make templates as to where to make holes.. i have no idea as to the swap you propose but it is prolly better to do alot of measuring and figuring first and cutting once later

the trans is a L-1-2-3 thats the shift pattern
