Sat pics (9-20) Couple rollin shots + some random stuff
Evening guys! It seems like it's been a long week around here. We've been spending the hours that we weren't working or sleeping in Brian's garage working on Christy's 54. It's not that we mind....I love to see things start coming together! After putting in about 8 hrs in the shop (I mostly stayed out of the way while Brian welded) we headed out for a ride so that we could get some grub. I had Christy drive the SEE TEN so I could play with the camera while we were driving. I haven't ever really played around with "rolling" shots so this is kinda some new territory for me. I hope you like em!
Not the best shot...but he's showing off the Worthless plate really good. I also had to swing by one of my buds to pick up a couple parts and this old thing was sitting in his shop. It belongs to his pop. He said that it had developed a "tick" so the engine got pulled and a new one is about to go back in. It's a V8 auto car with A/C power steering and disc brakes. |

Re: Sat pics (9-20) Couple rollin shots + some random stuff
Some of you may remember from last weeks round of pics that the 54 was getting an overhaul of sorts.
We've been piddlin with it since last Sunday when I drove it over to Brian's... (This is the part where all the purists will start to cringe.) The 6cyl and three speed went first. Followed by... The front suspension. Anticipating the power!! Cleaning it up. Tacking in the new parts. Polished stainless arms hiding in the plastic. That's not going anywhere. Anywho....That's what I've got for ya for this round. I'll give em a bump with a couple of edited versions of the rollin shots sometime tomorrow. A big thanks goes out to Brian (71see10) for keeping the midnight oil burning on the 54! There's no way I could pull it off in anything resembling a reasonable amount of time without ya! Thanks guys! |

The pool table in the shop cracked me up. I don't know why.

Re: Sat pics (9-20) Couple rollin shots + some random stuff
That pool table was one of the best shop tools I ever bought, play a little pool, load it with parts, holds hoods to be painted, right now holding all of a 54 front end! After we use those parts up, we can rack a few balls, how could it get any better? Well I'm sure asa can figure out a way!!!

Re: Sat pics (9-20) Couple rollin shots + some random stuff
I was in Hershey Penn, and saw an old chevy dealership that was closed. It would make a nice location for a photo shoot with some old trucks and cars.

Re: Sat pics (9-20) Couple rollin shots + some random stuff
That's my truck in the shop pic sitting behind the bike. It has a 4" suspension lift and 33" tires. The 2wd truck I took pics of going down the road is the one Brian bought for his 14 1/2 year old son. It could pass for my 2wd clone and is running 2.5" drop spindles with stock coils on the front. The back is done with 5" drop coils and a super track bar and shock relocators.
