Funny you ask..

Cliff Ruggles is a guru with Qjets, I have this book and I have learned a bunch from it, and I was able to rebuild and modify them before I got it. Now I make them run better and I have a reference as to what parts I need and where to get them.

Its not how to put a gasket kit in, its how to rebuild them, that includes throttle shaft bushings (easy to do) main jet well plugs (even easier to do), and tuning it for power, economy, and drivability.

You can get it from a number of places. I ordered it direct from him in Ohio, and got some throttle shaft bushings at the same time. Now I need ethanol friendly accelerator pump diaphragms, since they dont come in any of the kits.

Cliff's website

There are a couple other books out there, and if you want I can find the links. This one has a bit more info in it than one of them, and is on par with the other one.

I swap the electric chokes over from carbs that have them to carbs that dont. Not that difficult to do provided they have the right bosses and throttle shaft pieces.

There's an article in the new Rod N Custom that lists the brand and part numbers for kits with the ethanol friendly (Viton?) accelerator pumps for most carbs, including quadrajets.
