how do you insulate doors
I was wondering how everyone was insulating the doors for sound and how did you get in there,not much room, is 78 chev

I used a cheap alternative to Dynamat inside my doors. They don't sound like a tin can anymore.
I gutted my doors for another reason and figured, While everything was outta the way.....Why Not..... |

Before you install you will need to spend some time cleaning the inner side of the door skin. That's almost as easy as giving your cat a bath in a tub full of rubbing alcohol.
We used Brown Bread which is similar to Dyna-mat,etc. Measure the holes that you can get through and cut it in strips. Carefully put it through the holes and attach as evenly as possible. It helps to add it to the back side of your door panels too.
