Accelerator cable options?

Ever since finding out my accelerator cable was "faulty" in not letting me get all WOT I've been looking the options when I get the $$$. Now comparing I've looked at the LOKAR setups which look great. They're twice the price of a standard one (still not looked at to see if same as I have now) but they will work for sure. Now If I get that one what length do I need? 24" or 36" ? I'm just trying to figure out if the Lokar is worth the $$$ or just stick with factory style but one that will work with the carb.

Has anybody used Lokar cable? Is there a better brand? I need to know what I should do here when I get the $$$ (probably Christmas present)
