I also have just bought a driver side floor pan for my 62 from LMC it was way over sized so is it ment to just cut out the rusted hole in the old floor and just patch because on the new one there is about a 6"lip on the out side of the pan that i have no idea where it goes it is in the down ward angle about a 45 degree angle and hits the door sill and kick panel any sugestions?
