Junkyard trip
Thought I would go by the local junkyard today to see what was there and here are the pics from my little trip. There were alot less old Chevy trucks there than there was the last time I went.

Re: Junkyard trip
I believe so. Supposedly the owner of the junkyard has someone who's coming to look at it. I tried to buy the grill off it but he said he would only sell the truck whole, which was cool with me...just can't afford the whole thing plus the cab needs some work. He said it ran good though. The truck hidden by the trees and weeds appeared to be a 41-46 wrecker.

Re: Junkyard trip
that was cool to look at, I would like to go to a junkyard with old vehicles like the ones here are full of newer cars.

Cool pictures - here's some from a farm back in the middle of no where, in my neck of the woods.

Re: Junkyard trip
Man.... I wish I had the weekend free as I would love to hit the local yards and see what treasures I could find.
Great pics!

Re: Junkyard trip
Damn I wish I lived over there, theres almost nothing older than the 1980's in scrapyards over here now thanks to new government legislation, most of the old yards are now long dead and gone. Ebay hasnb't helped as people think they can sell any old heap of rust for stupid money now.
