4-bolt main 454
I had this engine listed earlier this year, but had second thoughts after a couple calls on it, so I took the ad down and decided to hold off on selling it. At the time I was unsure if it was a 2 or 4 bolt main block, but have since gotten some time to tear into it a little and discovered that it is in-fact a 4-bolt block.
I have torn it down to the short block since the below photo was taken....everything in the picture is still included, just easier to inspect now. I can see that it has been rebuilt at least once already, and is currently .060 over...did not pull any rods or the crank, so I don't know how much the crank has been turned if any. This engine has been stored for a long time, but we did hear it run before it came out of the truck that it used to be in. It's pretty greasy and grimey, but it ran good, and it's all there. Block casting #14015445, and the heads are open chamber oval ports, casting 346236 I only want $600. Bulk Rebuilders like City Motor are getting $800 for 2-bolt cores, so this should be a good deal for someone at this price....I'm selling as a good rebuildable core.

Just want to sell now. There is a crank pulley with it and the timing cover.
