Smile 1 belt serp system

I have a chance to get a 1 belt serp system for my 79 GMC. My truck has a 305 v8, and I believe the donor truck has a 350. My question is will this system fit my 305, as long as I get the water pump, crank pulley, and pwr steering unit? Also my truck has the old A/C system, and the donor truck has the newer stuff, will my A/C wires just hook right up onto the newer one and work or do I need that wiring from the donor truck? Thanks in advance

Re: 1 belt serp system

This should answer any questions on serpentine belt swaps: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=233335

It is also a sticky, always at the top of the forum.
