Show me your tubs

I'm looking to do tubs in my brother's 59. Show me what you guys used.

So Far my best Times are:

Motor only:
6.44 1/8 @ 104.13
10.39 1/4 @ 125.83

Nitrous Times:
5.785 1/8 @ 118.65 with a 1.336 60ft
9.168 1/4 @ 142.58 with a 250 shot dead out of the hole!

Just waiting to pick mine up. I used a set from an early 60's chev p/u. Cut out about 6" from the center. I'm going to use the same type of carridge bolt to fasten it down.

I made my tubs out of non-galvanized trailer fenders I bought on-line. I narrowed them to 2" and filled in the side. I looked closely at the discription to find some that were big enough. (I want to run 29" tires and the fenders will clear 31") They were like $25.

Why not get a set of 58-59 fleetside fender tubs and narrow them to fit the tire width? They would come with the flanges for bolting to the bed and look factory.
