the outside is pretty much done beside a good buff job. It will be up and running in the next few weeks and look for a feature in Street Trucks arfter the new years. Thanks to all my friends in Severed Ties that help make it possable and Kurt at AutoCore for working 2 days straight. Also all my sponsor that had faith in me building a cool project. here are a few links i found online. http://www.socalcustoms.com/Shows/20...s/IMG_7738.htm http://www.socalcustoms.com/Shows/20...s/IMG_7739.htm

Re: project: Chain Reaction makes it to sema
Great looking truck.
I have been told more than once that not just anybody can go to SEMA. That you have to be a vendor or something, or be invited. Is there any truth to that?

Re: project: Chain Reaction makes it to sema
The show is designed for industry insiders. To purchase a pass you have to show your industry business card and a matching business license. But the passes are name cards hanging in a plastic holder similar to what you would find at a large race like NASCAR or NHRA. So non-industry people are easily slipped in with the name tag of someone else. No biggie, it happens every year. But you need someone in the industry to purchase the passes.

Re: project: Chain Reaction makes it to sema
thanks guys/gals for all the great comments! Seem like most people really liked the truck and my mods left alot of people scratching there heads..
The last 2 weeks have been a blurr.. Iv been off of work trying to get the truck done enough to show at SEMA this past week. The show it self was ok, I think the bad economy has even hit the big companys. I just got back in town a few hour ago. Dropped the truck off at the stereo shop for a full custom fiberglass box and amp rack. I will post pics as they build it.

Re: project: Chain Reaction makes it to sema
Hey, I just picked up that issue of Street Trucks and saw that today. Congrats, dude.
Man, I'm loving the direction that Street Trucks is headed. They had another "budget" project with a static drop and some vintec wheels in there this month. They're really getting big on the square bodies. I think it might have something to do with Travis Noack being the editor.
