'66 Chevy K10 lwb fleetside
I have a '66 Chevy K10 lwb fleetside truck with factory running gear, 283 and SM420 4-speed. Factory chrome front bumper, factory anodized aluminum grille, fiberglass front fenders and Class III receiver hitch. Starts, runs and drives. Have other photos if interested. Clear MO title. Located at my shop in Kansas City, KS, if you would like to take a look and test drive.

Re: '66 Chevy K10 lwb fleetside
The cab is pretty rough, but the bed is decent. The bed has a few self-inflicted holes in the upper bed panel on the driver side...looks to be holes for some type of bed-mounted fuel tanks. Also, a few rusty areas over the rear wheel wells and the factory holes for the reverse lights were pushed in slightly, in order to fill. The original tailgate is in good condition.
It has headers, rear step bumper, four matching wheels, new radiator and factory V8 radiator shroud. There are a number of missing parts that I am going to replace with good-quality, used parts from my inventory. The truck will be complete, with no parts missing, with the exception of the bed wood. I will leave this for the new owner. I bought it because it was a running factory 4x4 with factory running gear and a factory V8. I didn't need another truck/project, but I figured I could put in a little sweat-equity and some parts from my inventory and it would make a decent driver/project for someone wanting to get into a 4-5-6 Chevy truck for a reasonable amount. Re: '66 Chevy K10 lwb fleetside
Santa took a look at this 4x4 yesterday, but he said it was the wrong color.
Take a look if you want a good start on a factory 4x4 lwb fleetside truck for the winter or jump in it and push some snow...members in tropical areas disregard the snow comment, lucky you. Happy Holidays! |

The original truck in this post sold to a fellow member Gene Sharp.
Hey Gene, do you need another '66 Chevy K10 to add to your collection? Last edited by LILRED66; 01-26-2009 at 10:18 PM. |
