LWB Stepside in the 70's-80's??
I was always under the impression that there were no long bed step-sides made after about 68', however a guy on another forum is saying otherwise and that although rare, he has actually seen a couple.
I've never seen one myself - anyone know the story on these?

They made them up all the way thru the 73-87 body style. I am not positive if they went all the way to 87, but I know they went to 79-80.

Wow! Learn something new every day. I just went out and did some research myself, and it appears that most were 3/4 ton...and also mostly sold as fleet vehicles, not sure if all?
Here's an 81' that I found, so they must have made them up at least through then.

There is a lwb step 3/4 ton just about 2 miles from my house looks to be an 84 or 85 from the grille.

used to be one here that looked like an 87 (not that I know my square body grills all that well) It was a long step 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive.

I see one around my hometown quite often not sure the year. The owner drives it year around. I finally got over doing a double take at it not the most attractive imo.
