...and so the @#$! economy has caught up with me. Marriage and the first-born were big hurdles taking time and $ from the Fox, but unemployment put the las nail in the coffin. The question is to sell it whole, hoping for a buyer who values the blood, sweat, and tears thus far spent, or could I get more by parting it out? I realize that the whole is not the sum of it's parts in terms of $, but is the effort to part it worthwhile? Couldn't I get more (and sell the trailer to) with it in one piece and running?

Try to sell it whole would be my answer but try to hold out on the sale if you can. This is just a bump in the road man. I hope you find a job soon man

Definitely keep it as a runner, should be far easier to sell imo. Sorry for the bad news. It's a cool Blazer and I know you have enjoyed it.

Every family man worth his salt has had to go through this from time to time.

If you sell it, keep tabs on where it goes. It's a small world out there and sold whole and running ensures that it will be around when you come back around. I've seen it happen so many times.

Sell it as a whole if you need to let it go, far less headaches and you won't get 'stuck' with parts/pieces that don't happen to sell.

Definitely sell it as a turn key.

Interesting that there's no flood of PM's. Either everybody's feeling the crunch too, or (better yet) us Blazer guys are an upstanding crowd rather than a flock of vultures. Good on ya'll!

I'm almost to the point of selling one of mine. Hate to lose it but I have 2 others.


It took years to get them plus the other toys as well. But even then things change. 20 years ago I had a swb truck. Today I look outside and I have 12 vehicles! 9 are cool, 3 are to drive into the ground and save the cool ones.



Hang in there, it gets better most times. You'll be surprised.

I'm not a Blazer guy yet (I'm buying a few Blazer parts as I can and have a plan) so I'm trying. I have been disabled/retired since 1-5-06. I went 2 years w/o a paycheck and used up most of my savings and sold a few cars and trucks to make it work. Do what you have to do to take care of the family and the rest will work out in time.
