New Guy with a 84 Chevy K20 bbc

Im new here and thought i would post some pics of my ride truck. Its a 84 chevy k20 with a 427t in it with a 4sp manual trans. I decided to rebuild the motor so out it came. I plan on rebuilding it and making a few more hp and more torque. right not it is cammed and has a 750 carb on it. My goal is headers, port the intake, new rings, and freshen all the seals. I would love to do more but being a 16yr old and i have to pay for everything out of my pocket. And i have to already have to pay off my car i just bought. well here are a few pics of it. Also whats the cheapest was to get 2 more in of lift? Thanks.

And a coupple pics befor i pulled the motor.

I think a fresh rebuild and a mild cam and you will have lots of torque. Just remember, tho it is a 427, it's not the 427 like back in the day. This one has heavier pistons and won't rev as much.

As for a mild lift, could put an add-a-leave or a zero rate, little longer shackle, and a block for the rear...

Ya i really dont need more but i want it. I will be pulling this truck, and goin throught local mud pits with it. The suspension is the original form the diesel with a spring or 2 added. Im on a very tight budget and would like it lifted 2 more in, but if i cant do it cheap and safe itll have to wait.
