Air bag suspension question.

I have a 72 swb that I want to bag. My question is I know that I need bag brackets for front. But what do i need for rear? I found rear universal brackets. Can someone let me know where to get the ones made for my truck? Thanks.

Re: Air bag suspension question.

Is your 72 coil or leaf in the rear?

N2TRUX, my 72 is coils in the rear.

Cooley, I want to go as low as possible without cutting the bed. I am going to notch the frame with a CPP notch.

Re: Air bag suspension question.

Ok, cool. When you say rear "universal" brackets what are they.

Since you don't want to cut the bed, bags on the stock arms with a 2" block should be all you need.

Re: Air bag suspension question.

N2TRUX, I know for the front I need the cups and the peice you screw/ weld on. Now for the rear is my question. I found a universal round plate. Do I need cups for the rear or just that plate? I want to replace spring with a bag in the original spring location. BTW, I already have 2 inch blocks installed for rear. Thanks for taking time to help me.

Re: Air bag suspension question.

you don't need plates or brackets for the rear ... drill a couple holes and bolt the bag in place of the coil spring.
