broken/ disconnected hood latch cable
I just went to open the hood to swap my plugs and wires, but there was no tension on the pull. How do I get it open to fix it?
90 squarebody suburban by the way.

Re: broken/ disconnected hood latch cable
patience and a screwdeiver
that's how i have gotten mine before now the cable usually runs by your inner fender on the drivers side, sometimes you can reach up and see if you can pull it down .. if it's connected you'll be set.. if it's not.. patience and a screwdriver =-)

Re: broken/ disconnected hood latch cable
oh p.s. it coul be partially released hence why there's "no tension" have a buddy "pop" on the hooda little to see if that's the issue while you hold the latch...
good luck
