Air Deflector Q's
I'm wondering if anyone has any knowledge on retrofitting one of these to a 73-80 front bumper?

Re: Air Deflector Q's
I figured since there was only two holes, and the hardware kit comes with 6 screws I would have to do more than use the existing holes.

Re: Air Deflector Q's
FYI- 73-80 does not attach to the bumper. It goes behind the bumper.

Re: Air Deflector Q's
So if the 73-80 go behind will one of those work? What do you mean "behind" .. on the back side of it or affixed to something else that the bumpe4r is in front of?

Re: Air Deflector Q's
He is asking to put an '81-87 deflector on a '73-80 bumper so some retrofitting will be required.
Sorry I can't help but since the older pieces do not seem to be available anymore I am sure people would be interested to see what you come up with.

Re: Air Deflector Q's
There was a stock deflector on the 80 models for sure. I think the 79's MAY have had one, but I'm not sure. 80's did for sure though.

Re: Air Deflector Q's
It will go on the bumer. I think I had to drill holes and trim the back side of it some. I had to trim it around my bumper guards too. It already had that crack in it so I didnt mind cutting it up.
