New guy from Missouri

How's it going everybody! I thought I would come in and say hi. I live in Belton Missouri. I'm working on gettin my 69 SWB rolling again! I bought it 3 years ago from a friend, his son blew the 355 that was in it so.. It's almost ready to go! I added my 468 BBC, TH400 combo, disc brake setup, and installed all autometer sportcomp gauges in the factory dash. Lot's of upgrades I just hope it all works! lol

Re: New guy from Missouri

The only parts I think I need is a fan shroud for a big block truck, and a tilt column. I've heard the tilts are only in 71-71 but not sure. They are hard to find! I've also heard of people using van columns in their trucks too, but I would rather not do that. I appreciate any info you guys have! I'm very new to the whole message board world so bare with me!

Welcome from Central Missouri.
If you need a tilt column,... look no further than board member KevsClassics. He rebuild stock truck columns and converts Van column to look just like the real thing. Send him a PM and he will hook you up.
Also,... what kind of ralleys are you looking for? 5-lug or 6-lug? I may have a set of driver quality ralleys.

Also,... it's worth the $25/year subscription fee to become a subscribing member here. There is a ton of information and parts available to buy and sell for all of us,... "with our names in BLUE".

Seriously think about joining.
And if you need some BB frame mounts for your truck,... this is the place to find them.

Re: New guy from Missouri

Thanks for the info lolife. I'll look him up for sure. As far as the rally's I need 2 15x8 5-lug, preferably with rings and centers. Sorry I didn't post that before...I'm new!! I would take a set of 4 if that's what you got though.

Re: New guy from Missouri

I offered the ralleys,... so Mods,... don't get on MZ 69 chevy.
This is a perfect example of what subscribing members get to do. The can sell parts and post WTB ads,... where people in
"the pink" cannot.
Look in the classifieds section. With 50,000+ members there are a ton of parts here.
