Re: cutting off s10 frame horns

You have to trim them. The grill and bed will hit and won't mount if there not cut. Don't just cut them as per Mongo's directions. mount your cab, then inner & outter fenders, THEN you'll know where to cut for the grill & bumpers. I don't know what your plans are as far as front and rear bumpers. Once you map out your bumpers, you'll know where it feel safe to cut the horns. I wish I had a few extra inches of horns/frame to have worked with. I checked out your new pic's on M/S, you should be rolling soon.

Re: cutting off s10 frame horns

I cut both the front and rear off according to clark's write up off of thehamb.com and it worked great. I had that cut before I even knew where anything was going to be mounted.

Later

i left mine long just in case i needed them longer.you can always trim them shorter later. personally i would rather have to cut so more later that add some later.
